IMG_20170711_133523_414Jalaja was trained at an ashram in India (Sivananda Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram at Neyyar Dam, certified by the International Yoga Alliance) where she received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course certification. It gave her an opportunity to learn the traditional and undiluted practice of Hatha Yoga, anatomy, diet, meditation and chanting. Going beyond postures, her classes include mindful sequences with a focus on breath and movement.

Jalaja’s Hatha Yoga sessions are suitable for every level – beginners who want to develop a new routine, as well as advancing students who wish to deepen their practice. She offers a customised approach to each student, encouraging them to realise their true potential. Jalaja’s calm demeanour works well with new students, but she isn’t afraid to give a gentle push to test their strength.
